  My fathers family at Tokirima, Edward  and Annie with Alice (eldest),  Sam, Ted, Mildred  front partial vew and baby Jean.  Mrs Thompson was a neighbour. Possibly from 1919.
Barrett, O'Donnell and Hughes ladies at Ngamotu  Beach in New Plymouth probably summer 1925-26.  Sarah and Ellen Barrett  at left, then my Aunt  Alice aged about 18, then Bessie O'Donnell  (both born 1908), then my Grandmother Hughes carrying Don b 1923.  My Aunts Jean and Mildred in the front,  Jean died in 2009.

   My Grandfather William Edgerley was keen on lawn bowls, I am guessing this was a very wet day on a green somewhere in central Auckland in early 1920's.  He is fourth from right.

My maternal Grand-father, William Edgerley and his children, my mother Connie on right b 1911, Dulcie b 1915 and Trevor b 1918 - on steps of school at Huntly. William's wife Maude died in childbirth in 1924.  Another photo possibly on the same steps with children in costumes.

  Joseph Arthur O'Donnell b 1900, d 1992  (Artie) younger brother of my fathers mother. Artie lived in the   Tongaporutu district all his life and has left some memories of his and his families life kindly sent with this and some other photos by Alf Lovell and Brian Cummings of  the Tainui Historical Society Museum at Mokau.
     Last photograph I have of Laura Whyman       Trevor says he has fond memories of visiting her after school.
