Perth summers (Dec-Jan-Feb) as measured at Perth Metro in Mount Lawley looked too warm for 2012 and 2013 when compared with Perth Airport 09021. Record hot day in Sydney 18 Jan 2013 pretty much confined to urban heat island

IMHO the BoM in Perth is gung-ho when it comes to claiming any records to do with warming.
