It is ironic that the above crystallizes to near certainty at Easter with crucifixion analogies and on 1st Apr.
In view of the crescendo of attacks yesterday on the Feds by Qld & NSW over slow vacc rates it looks clearer now that all the States have been antagonistic towards the Feds dating back over a year now. Motormouth Morrison has been a slow learner maintaining a public fiction that “at least we get on well with NSW”. Anybody watching news yesterday could be disgusted that on such a serious issue as vaccination and at a time of flood disaster relief our various layers of Gov can not make an effort to cooperate delivering for Australians. Instead grabbing the opportunity to dissemble and weave a web of changing lies about why they are withholding vaccs to add to attacks on the hapless Morrison Gov who are indeed beset from all sides.
If I had cartooning skills I would be thinking of the ScoMo Gov deep in a shellhole in enemy territory surrounded on all sides by their enemies – China, States, ABC, activist women, Eurozone holding back Oz vaccs, anti-damists, climate emergency, anti-coal, anti-gas, country shopper and extinction rebellion advocates, NZ PM at times. I am sure there are more.

Yes a couple of good articles on that in the Spectator Australia -one by James Allan “Australian Notes” and by Mark Latham “Latham’s law”. James Allan says Scomo is doomed. He is weak and more woke than a Turnbull lite. There are men criminals just as there are women murders and fraudsters. The liberals have no policies except to take a cue from leftist greens and others that seem to hate Australia.
I do not believe that there is a shortage of vaccines. One lady friend and her husband had the first shot of the AZ vaccine two weeks ago. My wife had it last week. I had my on Monday given by a RN in our GP’s surgery. There were one or two every 15mins. Getting a flu shot in a couple of weeks and then the second jab of AZ a week after that. All bulk billed so no cost.
I suggest the socialist Qld government and the health dept. with their minister (and chief MO Janet Young) are incompetent.

ScoMo is weak and fearful. The AusPost woman he had sacked – she awarded a $5000 bonus to five of her staff who had apparently achieved something or other. Many senior PS employees are awarded much larger bonuses for achieving absolutely nothing that we are told of. Yet Morrison thought that populist envy of a $5k bonus in the form of a wristwatch would award him kudos for sacking her. Despicable.

Thanks for news re vaccs. The only thing I have heard is the local hospital started jabbing staff with the Pfiz mid Mar. Re the Australia Post business. I agree the PM fired the OzPost boss for events out of 2018. However I admit to a jaundiced view of what Gov did with AusPost dating back to the colossal payout engineered by past Boss. So – sorry any sympathy I might have had was vanished and AustPost was just another entry on my list of OzGov disasters.

I think if there was any doubt that the NSW Premier has been hostile to the Fed Gov for years – the news breaking over Easter re her appointment of Turnbull to a renewables position with Green Minister Matt Keane in a policy area she says progress is “to die for”. There can be no doubt now for the PM that the NSW Prem often acts as a fully paid up Green. Anti-dam, anti-gas, anti-gas pipeline, anti-coal.
