Even the GreenLeft ABC reports [To the frustration of environmental activists and some countries who were urging more ambitious climate goals, negotiators delayed decisions on two key issues until next year in an effort to get a deal on the table.
That included a decision on the mechanics of an emissions trading system and the issue of raising ambitions on climate change.]
UN’s COP24 climate talks reach global consensus on the rulebook to cap global warming 16Dec18
After 23 COP badgerings and bullying, megatonnes of newsprint wasted over decades on their exaggerated elitist fairy stories we can only imagine what a failure this really is.
Watching the news footage of the COP24 delegates clapping and congratulating each other, at the end, I think the only thing they were celebrating was that they had scammed another junket holiday from the hapless taxpayers.
It was a failure from the moment they boarded hundreds of fuel-burning jets all over the world, in order to gather and claim that fuel-burning was a huge problem – for the 24th time, and counting.
Quite a mixture among the delegates.
Those hoping for money for their country.
Those wanting to keep the ‘gravy train’ going (for themselves).
Those trying to gain an advantage for their country.
Deluded fools who still think that CO2 alters the climate.
And a brass band from the local colliery seranading.
An average of bout 25,000 men and women converge each year at some place in the world to attend the annual climate jamboree. At a cost of at least $10,000 per person, and I now I’m being very conservative, this adds up to $250,000,000 a year. This has been happening for 24 years, meaning that this climate fakery has cost the world $6,000,000,000 at least. This money could have fed and medicated the poor of the world for many years instead of being fed to the corrupt politicians and their cronies, but who cares.
The Wall Street Journal is talking defeat. Marc Morano helps us to see through the paywall.
