Who would have thunk the oceans are actually alkaline. What massive misinformation on the various platforms of the ABC. Taxpayers pay a $Billion per year for these lies.
Interesting isn’t it that these little critters not only survived but actually thrived a few hundred million years back during long periods when the atmospheric CO2 level was at least 10 times higher than now?
Back then I guess they didn’t have eager apocalyptic, end-of-the-world ABC group thinkers and grants bedazzled “researchers” coaching them to turn up their little shell-pink toes did they?
CO2 becomes less soluble in water as temperatures rise. Which is a positive feedback, assuming CO2 has the GHG effect claimed. Which makes alternating glaciation and inter-glacials hard to explain by CO2. But does explain why CO2 lags temperatures in the paleo record.
And also note ocean ph reached its lowest point at the Holocene Optimum when temperatures were highest in this inter-glacial.
