Place called GLUEPOT RESERVE (020028) 48 km NNE of WAIKERIE in South Australia. Click for minimum anomaly map 6 Dec 2015 – The 9.8° looks to be ~10° below surrounding stations. Does anybody have info on this site?

Gluepot Reserve is a 540 square kilometres (210 sq mi) private protected area located in South Australia about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of the town of Waikerie. It was established by Birds Australia (now BirdLife Australia) in 1997 by the purchase, through a public appeal, of Gluepot Station, a pastoral lease in the semi-arid Murray Mallee region of South Australia.
Hey Warwick,
Gluepot just got 12 degrees warmer on that day, see www.bom.gov.au/jsp/awap/temp/archive.jsp?colour=colour&map=minanom&year=2015&month=12&day=6&period=daily&area=sa
Maybe they have woken up to the fact that this site does better quality control on their maps than they do…
Thanks Dave – after the Bedourie error – The BoM lets a glaring 10 degree error into their AWAP database

I wrote to the Ministers. Both errors were fixed late last week –
