The ABC reports – Chaotic unseasonal storms strike Marshall Islands and Guam as eight systems threaten western Pacific –
I am too busy to attempt to dig out data on this – make sure you include the word cyclone in any comment and I can rescue same if it gets caught in the spam queue. Same goes for earlier Raquel post. Not sure where the eight systems are.
Off topic but interesting post by Jo Nova courtesy Bob Fernley-Jones on the Bom’s temperature adjustments. I think it will interest you Meteo guys, if you aren’t already aware of it.
TedM – if you look at page 2 of my ACORN category – you can see examples from Giles where I picked up on these rhythmic, machine driven ACORN adjustments.

Page 3 has examples from Adelaide and Sydney – I am sure they are everywhere

I started posting those charts of ACORN daily T minus CDO over a year ago but they got little interest. It is a good thing Bob F-J has taken the issue to a new level. If more people would just take an hour or two to check ACORN vs CDO data in spreadsheet – there would be more concern at what the BoM is doing.
