After the monumental US fail exiting Kabul which will reverberate for years.
We now have this grim 20th Anniversary at a time every sane person knows the US has just greatly strengthened international terrorists who want to repeat 9/11 versions in various forms. I read where US football crowds have been chanting “F*** Joe Biden”. It has all been made easier for movie script-writers wanting to make movies about US/Western decline, weakness, defeat.

Ivermectin news reveals PM ScoMo has noticed Clive Palmer
The ABC reports Regulator (TGA) warns Australians against using anti-parasitic medication Ivermectin to treat COVID-19 which is just days after Clive Palmer and MP Craig Kelly joined forces ~23Aug21 saying they will run United Australia Party candidates in all lower house Federal seats. The ABC also had a radio interview in June that they were told to correct.
I have been fortunate to mostly enjoy good health but over the decades you visit a Dr for odd reasons. Two observations of mine re medicos is that A they are often quick to jump to a conclusion not listening to what you say. And B Medical Dr’s – GP’s have been for decades recipients of amazing amounts of valuable gifts from drug companies.
Another view on Ivermectin from David Archibald – Links to Ivermectin articles and Unhinged on Ivermectin 29Aug21.
It amazes me that in all the enormous TV news time taken up by various Covid-19 daily announcements I have not heard a journalist ask if Ivermectin could be used to improve the health of people infected. It is unusual to hear about what drugs – if any are being used.
Waterbombers could have reduced Fraser Island fire
The ABC has uncovered docs showing Qld bureaucracies were reluctant to use available fire fighting aircraft to extinguish the Faser Island fire which burnt for ~60 days in Oct/Dec 2020 until rain put it out. Reading the ABC reprise backs my views that I am sure I have expressed over years – that often fire fighting authorities seem happy to have ground units “accompanying” fires – more than putting them out. Ditto when they use large waterbombers. It seems to me that often over years large waterbombers are tasked to dump retardant on unburnt bush, rather than extinguishing active fire. Those impressions of mine contribute to my belief that we would all be better off if the RAAF were tasked to run large waterbombers.
How could the West have arrived here?
AlJazeera reports Taliban enter Kabul. We know Joe Biden behaves as if he is afflicted with some form of dementia but surely people like Blinken and the Joint Chiefs are running still sane offices. Now we are in a situation where some armed guys in utes who follow a medieaval islamic cult could take westerners hostage civil or mil plus or minus airliners around Kabul airport. Memories of the Iran hostage crisis 444 days 1979-1981.
Nimbys up costs of electricity grid transmission
ABC reports Ballarat Labor MP Catherine King calls for rethink of Western Victoria Transmission Network Project – can only up power bill costs or increase transmission losses. More signs we are “flying blind” hoping unproven wind/solar/pumped hydro renewables will replace coal & gas in the quest to go emissions neutral by 2050 or 2030 or whenever.
Antipodean indigenous policy dangers
Interesting that both New Zealand & Australia face radical indigenous policy prescriptions being pushed by minorities.
For Australia we have the “Voice to Parliament” concept that the indigenous industry has been pushing for a few years and I see signs the PM could be ready to pass some version on a vote in Parliament. I can add more later on “Voice to Parliament”.
In NZ the recent emergence of the He Puapua (the break) concept looks exactly like a plan for the GreenLeft Ardern Govt to grant Maori a major and separate share of Govt way in excess of their ~17% of the NZ population.
BBC gets Downunder climate change wrong
This BBC piece uses the 2019 fires to attack Australian attitudes and politics around IPCC “climate change” where many are demanding we “do more”.
The author seems to have missed that the BoM in Sep 2019 reported that an Antarctic phenomena referred to as “sudden stratospheric warming” was worsening the drought so as rainfall decreased; the chance of heatwaves rose and fire risk increased. It is all explained at my 5May2021 blog – ScoMo’s NRRA birthed in memory lapse.
BBC making Climategate movie
I just saw this news over at Watts. Many happy memories of Climategate that so kneecapped the IPCC/climate “A$%^^holes”
My various articles touching on Climategate over years. My first thoughts about the BBC movie were – IT TOOK THEM THIS LONG TO FURTHER FINESSE THEIR LIES – my second thoughts are “SELL ME THE DVD”. What a pack of lies and distortions and agitprop we can look forward to.
D-Day Normandy landings anniversary
Spare a thought for those that sacrificed to help bring an end to WWII in Europe.
The D-Day story has been frequently told and Hollywooded.
In recent years I have come to the view that it really represented a victory for Uncle Joe Stalin to prevent the western Allies from getting into Germany much earlier via the north of Italy in 1943. Thus leaving the way clear for USSR troops to get further west into Europe and enslave more people after the war. The case is made in the book “American Betrayal” by Diana West.
Guest blog by David Motes; GW driven by Plant Evapotranspiration Reduction
David Motes is a 43-year professional chemical engineer residing in Houston, TX. His 23 page engineering paper is a guest post titled: “Global Warming Driven by Plant Evapotranspiration Reduction, Not CO2 GHG! Solution- More Plants”. The paper is summarized as follows: Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) is quantitatively driven by CO2 induced Plant Evapotranspiration Reduction (PER), not CO2 GreenHouse Gas (GHG) effects. David uses consensus science facts and diagrams from CO2 GHG proponent sites such as the IPCC, NASA, NOAA, and the International Energy Agency to quantitatively prove the scientific fact that PER is a significant driver in AGW. Conversely, CO2 GHG theory remains a largely unquantifiable, problematic theory. When someone shares that they are feeling sad or best buy for viagra mad, have them draw from the jar which is packed with encouraging, inspiring comments. Modulift – This Company is popularly known tadalafil levitra for its effective results in increasing the ejaculation time of 2-6 minutes and the internationally recognized average time is 10 minutes. Create an environment- viagra discount For a long-lasting intimacy; you will need to set an environment to hit your five senses. Some people go to extremes viagra cheap sale with fasting, laxatives, enemas, colonics, diuretics, and even exercise and begin to lose essential nutrients from food alone, particularly for the on-the-go-man. By example, 10 CO2 GHG theory problems are quantified and graphically presented. His focus was on engineering quantification versus hereto date presentation of GHG data and theories. Increasing plant life is less expensive and substantially more effective than just reducing annual fossil fuel CO2 emissions (contributes only 1% of existing atmospheric CO2). His paper, engineering quantification, and science is well worth reading and further research. Click to download.
